The Hello, Nanny!® Family Experience

Families that work with us benefit from our industry experience and network of pre-vetted candidates. They also receive access to backup care candidates for the unexpected as well as the use of our sophisticated industry technology that streamlines sourcing, interviewing, and hiring the best care possible.

STEP 1

Following your inquiry, we will contact you to schedule an initial 30-minute consultation. We will be happy to answer your initial questions regarding our process, the market, and the next steps to get started on your search during this call. In a follow-up email, your family will receive information about becoming an official client and setting up your family's secure and comprehensive portal.

STEP 2

Once you have completed your initial call with us and paid your deposit, we will schedule a more in-depth call with our leading recruiter and family specialist. The duration of this call will range from 60 to 120 minutes. In order to find your ideal match, we will take the time to understand your needs, expectations, and child(ren). It is possible that we will reveal information that you have not even considered.

STEP 3

You'll be able to browse applicants who have been hand-picked for your family. We are personally acquainted and familiar with every nanny in our network as we invest a lot of time in pre-vetting each one. Based on our initial conversation with you we typically have a few nannies top of mind based on your family's personality and needs. We will present you with the candidates we feel are the best fit, along with access to our helpful Hello, Nanny!® resources to make the interviewing seamless.

STEP 4

After reviewing the nanny profiles, we'll connect your family with those candidates you're most interested in meeting. We recruit exclusively for each family. In the event no existing profiles pique your interest or fit your needs, we can discuss a custom recruitment plan. It is our goal to present you with only the best candidates and to never let you feel like you have settled. All interviews will be scheduled by us- we'll make it simple for you!

STEP 5

After a successful Zoom or phone interview with a candidate and you're ready to proceed, you can set up an in-person meet and greet with our
Hello, Nanny!® Rest assured that prior to this meet & greet, your potential nanny will have successfully passed an extensive background check as follows:

Felony and Misdemeanor Report
Domestic Terrorist Watch List Check
Department of Motor Vehicles Report
Social Security Verification
National Sex Offender Check
National Wants and Warrants Check

STEP 6

Assuming that your face-to-face meeting goes well and your family wants to move forward, the next step is to set up a working trial. This will give your family and nanny a chance to get to know each other and to work side by side in your own surroundings to observe how they perform in a real-world context.

STEP 7

Once the working trial is successfully completed and you're ready to extend an offer, we provide families with a work agreement template. As we work with you on this, we ensure that it sets your family and candidate up for long-term success. Our personal tax consultant will be assigned to you to answer all your payroll-related questions.

We evaluate potential candidates using a 21-point assessment method. The thorough screening process is as follows after fulfilling our preliminary qualifying standards of professional competence and long-term commitment:

Employment timeline verification and thorough professional & educational reference checks.
In-depth social media audits & personal reference checks.
Collect and verify vetting items such as CPR & First Aid, TB, and Tdap vaccinations. (Flu and Covid vaccinations if requested by a family.), Valid ID, Valid Car Insurance.
Candidate interviews with families.
Complete thorough background and DMV check BEFORE scheduling a working trial.
CA nannies only- Trustline process begins once a working agreement between the candidate and family is signed.
