Our loving and busy family is seeking a full-time nanny to care for their infant, starting in October. They are expecting their new arrival in July. Both mom and dad have busy and demanding careers. They are looking forward to welcoming someone into their family who will serve as a true extension of themselves. It is exciting for them to form a successful partnership with their nanny for many years to come.
There is flexibility in our family’s weekly schedule. In terms of start and end times, the following schedule would be ideal with some flexibility. It is possible for our family to guarantee 35-40 hours per week.
Monday: 9:00 am-5:00 pm (8 hours)
Tuesday: 7:30 am-3:30 pm (7 hours)
Wednesday: 7:30 am-3:30 pm (7 hours)
Thursday: 8:00 am-4:00 pm (8 hours)
Friday: Half day. 8:00 am/9:00 am-1:00 pm/2:00 pm (5-6 hours)
The family looks forward to welcoming someone who possesses experience working with infants and who is ready to assume all infant-related responsibilities. Providing care for the baby, including feeding, changing, and engaging in developmentally appropriate activities. Providing a nurturing and safe environment for their child. Maintaining regular communication with the parents regarding the baby’s milestones and any concerns they may have. Establishing a consistent daily routine for the baby in collaboration with the parents. An individual who is able to help with household tasks, such as laundry and light cleaning, is an advantage.
It is essential to be able to travel a few times every year with Mom when she attends business trips. 1-3 trips a year are needed. These are domestic trips that last approximately 3-5 days.
They are looking for a partner who is a true collaborator. Having the ability to offer their professional experiences and ideas, but understanding that parents have the final say in how things are handled. An individual who is warm, soft-spoken, a good communicator, and has the insight to offer is essential!
The family is seeking an individual who is able to make a long-term commitment to their family. Someone who enjoys being outdoors on walks, is capable of climbing flights of stairs, and is up to date with their COVID and flu vaccinations. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
