Temporary Part-Time Committed and Dedicated Nanny Needed in San Jose

Our extremely warm and welcoming family is seeking a dedicated and reliable part-time nanny to join them in caring for their delightful 18-month-old son and their precious 2-month-old daughter until December 21st. Their household exudes love, laughter, and a relaxed atmosphere, and they are excited to welcome a nurturing partner to their family. Our family values punctuality, flexibility, and someone with a good sense of humor.

As their part-time temporary nanny, you will play a pivotal role in providing attentive and loving care for their children. The primary focus will be on the 18-month-old boy, who is vibrant, outgoing, and enjoys engaging in various activities. He loves to play, climb, and explore, making every day an adventure.

He follows a consistent nap schedule, with naps from 12:00pm to 2:00pm and again from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. Someone who adheres to their schedule is their ideal match. They are looking forward to saying hello to someone who is active. Someone who enjoys going for walks, visiting the park, attending story time at their local library, and researching other age appropriate activities and outings. An outgoing nanny who loves to sign, dance, and get creative would be a great match for their son!

It will be the end of September when Mom returns to work from maternity leave. Both children will be under your care during the month of November and December. Additionally, their busy and loving Grandma lives with them. When she is available, she can take over and watch their daughter while you focus on engaging their son. In this role, you will have the autonomy to do your job with support from a nurturing family unit.

As first-time parents, our family is delighted to partner with an experienced career nanny who can provide advice, tips and tricks, and guide them as their children reach milestones. We invite you to be a part of a true partnership with our family. It is welcome to share ideas on how to manage meltdowns and other professional insights.

As a family, they deeply respect individuals that are comfortable caring for other people’s children and hope to reflect that respect as an employer.  For them, it’s impossible to keep an active eye on the kids (especially our 18 months) even while working from home, so a nanny is absolutely irreplaceable.  They hope to minimize duties outside of childcare and are totally fine with nannies relaxing while the babies are sleeping.

Among the duties are those related strictly to their children, except for the laundry of the children. Helping tidy up play areas before you leave for the day, washing dishes after their son’s snack and lunch time, and washing bottles is appreciated.
