Compensation: $25-30/hr, based on qualifications and experience
Schedule: Week 1: Wednesday – Sunday
Rotating Week 2: Wednesday – Friday
Wednesday shift: 2:15-6PM
Thursday-Friday: 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM and 2:15 PM – 6:00 PM
Saturday/Sunday: 24 hours on-call not on duty unless parent is called into work in which then the wage would kick in, otherwise they will be paid $100 stipend for being in the home and available.
Guaranteed Hours: 30 hours per week + daily on call stipend every shift
Guaranteeed Overnight Pay: On call (in the home) $100/night (4 nights per week one week, 2 nights per week rotating week) Parent will be home and responsible for the children, but requires a candidate on call. In the event parent needs to leave the home and nanny is on duty, stipend will be paid at $150/night + hourly wage up to 8 hours.

Family Overview:
A busy and professional single parent family in Dallas is seeking a full-time live-in, nanny to manage and supervise their two children. The role involves supporting the parents in daily activities related to the children. The ideal candidate must be flexible, possess effective communication skills regarding the children’s routines, and set boundaries within the household. A professional demeanor and a strong presence are essential. Must be interactive and proactive with children. Willingness to do consistent overnights shifts for the first 6 months (potentially extended to the first year). Candidate will be compensated $100 for being on call each day of their scheduled days, in the event parent needs to leave for work, candidate would need to be on duty, and family would increase stipend to $150 when on duty.
Long Week: Monday after drop off to school, candidate is OFF until Wednesday for school pick up at 2:15PM.
Short Week: Candidate is considered OFF on Friday at 6PM until the following Wednesday for school pick up at 6PM.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with morning routines, including breakfast and preparing the children for school.
- Communicate with parents about children’s progress and daily activities.
- Help maintain a clean and organized environment in shared spaces.
- Meal prep assistance, though not required.
Weekly Schedule:
- Wednesday: 2:15 PM: Arrive at school. | 3:20 PM: Pick up from school and assist with after-school activities.
- Evening: Help with dinner and bedtime routine.
- Thursday-Sunday: 6:30 AM: Arrive for breakfast and help the children get ready for school. | 7:30 AM: Drop off at school. | 2:15 PM: Arrive for school pick-up. | 3:20 PM: Pick up from school and assist with homework and after-school activities. | Evening: Help with dinner and bedtime routine.
- Monday: 6:30 AM: Arrive for morning routine, breakfast, and getting ready for school. | 7:30 AM: Drop off at school. | 8:00 AM: Off duty after drop-off.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of experience in family assistance, childcare, or nannying.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible, with a strong work ethic.
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to build positive relationships with children and parents.
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Proficiency in English.
- Up-to-date vaccinations (Tdap & flu).
