Professional Standards for Career‑Level Nannies & Household Professionals
Hello Nanny! is a nationwide nanny and household staffing agency built on clarity, ethics, and long‑term success.
We work with career‑level household professionals and families who are committed to compliant employment, fair compensation, and clearly defined roles. To support strong, sustainable placements, all candidates must meet established professional standards.

How We Evaluate Credentials
Not all certifications are created equal — and not every role requires formal credentials.
When reviewing experience and training, we consider:
Whether the certification came from a recognized, reputable organization
If the training included hands‑on or practical components
How the candidate applies their knowledge in real household settings
Whether the credential is relevant to the family’s current stage and needs
A strong candidate may have formal certifications, extensive hands‑on experience, or — ideally — a combination of both.
A Balanced View of Experience
We’ve placed exceptional caregivers who hold multiple certifications — and others whose strength comes from years of trusted, real‑world experience and outstanding references.
Credentials can enhance a caregiver’s profile, but they are one part of a much larger picture that includes professionalism, communication style, adaptability, and long‑term compatibility.
Our role is to help families understand what truly matters for their unique situation — and to ensure candidates are considered thoughtfully, not just by what appears on paper.
