Expert Village Spotlight: Katerina Jones

A family of four sits smiling on a bed, parents holding two young children and wearing red and white outfits, in a heartwarming portrait by Katerina Jones.

At Hello Nanny!, we know that raising a family takes more than love—it takes a village. That’s why we’ve built ours: Hello Nanny!’s Expert Village.

This curated network of trusted professionals—spanning child development, family wellness, mental health, education, and more—exists to help parents and caregivers navigate the complexities of modern family life with confidence.

We’re thrilled to spotlight our community of experts, sharing their story, their work, and the insights that inspire them. Because behind every great caregiver or parent is a team of people who make the journey a little easier. And, we’re here to make sure you never walk it alone.

In this week’s Village Expert Spotlight, we sit down with Katerina Jones (BSN, RN), a licensed registered nurse with over 13 years of experience in various clinical settings, including nearly a decade in Infertility and Reproductive Health. Katerina founded Full Bloom Fertility, a nurse consulting and educational service dedicated to addressing the significant knowledge gap surrounding all aspects of fertility. Throughout her career she’s remained deeply committed to justice, education, and caring for others.

Name and occupation:

Katerina Jones, Founder of Full Bloom Fertility

Do you have kids? If so, how old are they?

Yes, two kids: 4.5 years and 9 months.

How would your kids describe you? How would they describe what you do?

I have no idea what the 9 month old would say, but my 4 year old describes me as the best person he has ever known in his whole lifetime who he lives with! He would describe what I do as “work on a computer” 🙂

Tell us about your company/current role:

I am the Founder of Full Bloom Fertility, a fertility education and consulting business committed to empowering individuals and couples by helping them navigate the complex world of fertility with clarity and compassionate support. I offer one-on-one consultations, group classes and workshops for organizations, and IVF/IUI/Egg freezing coaching for more long-term support.

Go-to coffee (or tea) order:

Cappuccino with oat milk.

Any family traditions?

We eat dinner together every night as a family.

3 things you never leave the house without:

Lip gloss/balm, sunglasses, and something to read (book, magazine, E-reader).

Piece of parenting advice that has stuck with you:

Nothing lasts, both the good and the bad. Try to remain in the present as much as possible.

What does your support system look like?

My husband is very supportive, especially understanding the unique challenges I face as an entrepreneur and mom. We also have a full-time nanny who is immensely helpful with baby care, laundry, and light cleaning so I can focus on building my business when I’m not with our kids. Also, our son’s school has a beautiful community that we are continuing to lean into.

Last thing you did solely for yourself:

Went for a walk around our local lake.

If you had a magic wand to make one parenting challenge disappear, what would it be?

Figuring out food for people other than myself all the time!
