Position: Full-Time, ROTA, Travel Nanny & Family Assistant (LOCAL CANDIDATES IN IDAHO ONLY CONSIDERED)

Location: Coeur d’Alene, ID

Start Date: January 1st, 2025

Children: Five children

Compensation: $25-30/hr, based on qualifications and experience

Schedule: ROTA schedule, two weeks on and two weeks off, guaranteed 40 hours per week during active weeks

Benefits: Paid travel to accompany the family to their second home and for quarterly trips | Federal holidays, 2 weeks PTO, and 5 sick days

About the Family:
This active, business-focused family seeks a professional Full-Time, ROTA, Travel Nanny & Family Assistant to support their household with a rotational schedule. The family values adaptability, flexibility, and a high level of professionalism. The role involves both dedicated childcare for four children and critical family and household support, with regular travel included. This position suits a candidate who is comfortable working two weeks on, followed by two weeks off, offering a balanced work-rest schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care for four children during active weeks, supporting their routines and developmental needs.
  • Plan and engage children in age-appropriate, enriching activities, outings, and educational experiences.
  • Manage daily routines, including meal preparation, bedtime routines, and supporting children’s personal care.
  • Track and facilitate the children’s academic and extracurricular activities, ensuring all schedules and commitments are organized.
  • Accompany children to medical appointments, extracurriculars, and events, and support travel preparations.
  • Assist with household organization, managing schedules for children, and overseeing their belongings and areas.
  • Run errands, handle grocery shopping, and ensure all essentials are prepared for active weeks.
  • Plan and prepare healthy meals for the children, support light family meal preparation, and contribute to meal planning.
  • Maintain cleanliness in children’s spaces, handle laundry, and keep play areas and bedrooms organized.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in childcare, with a background in newborn care and experience managing multiple children.
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) and expertise in child safety practices.
  • Comfortable with a ROTA schedule, working two weeks on and two weeks off, and able to adjust in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, proven experience in household management, and administrative support.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a high level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Willing to travel regularly with the family, including both domestic and international trips.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • No criminal history, with three impeccable references.
  • Worked with UHNW families.
