Dr. Darria Long is a Harvard and Yale-trained, board-certified ER physician, national media and TV expert for baby and family safety (@DrDarria), and mom of 3. She is the founder of No-Panic Parenting, the leading company helping parents and caregivers prevent – and know how to respond to – life’s accidents, illnesses, and emergencies.
Dr. Darria is a regular expert on national TV networks including CNN, NBC, and others (media reel), national bestselling author of Mom Hacks, and Ted speaker of the widely popular “An ER doctor on ending the crazy busy”.
She is a national spokesperson for the American College of Emergency Physicians, member of the American Academy of Pediatric’s Council on Injury, Violence, and Poison Protection, and Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee School of Medicine.
A staunch advocate of children’s health and safety, Dr. Darria founded No-Panic Parenting, to be the physician-led, data-driven platform to research, prevent, and improve outcomes of child and women’s preventable accidents and injuries. That includes education for Baby proofing and child safety, as well as BLS-certified courses on CPR, Choking, and Drowning Emergencies. She lives in Atlanta with her husband and three children.
