Say Hello To Our Family:
Our busy and loving family of 5, including a sweet beagle mix, is seeking a long-term family assistant/nanny to join their team. As working professionals, Dad and Mom value professionalism, organization, and proactive initiative. They are looking for an exceptional individual who is independent, flexible, and able to think two steps ahead. This professional must be reliable, punctual, and ready to hit the ground running, starting promptly at 7:00 am!
Our family has two wonderful children. Their son is almost 5 years old and full of energy and curiosity. He is confident, strong-willed, and exuberant. He loves spending time outdoors, riding his bike, swimming, and exploring nature. He is passionate about building with Legos, blocks, and playing with toy cars, construction vehicles, and trains. He is enthusiastic about learning and enjoys engaging in activities with both Mom and Dad.
Their daughter is an easy-going sweetheart who adores her older brother and loves to sing, dance, and draw. At the age of 2, she is a playful and imaginative child who enjoys pretending to run a pizza parlor, playing doctor, and caring for her stuffed animals and dolls. She is an adventurous eater and displays empathy towards others, often comforting and offering support to her friends.
Their son attends school from 8:30 am until 4:00 pm, while their daughter attends school from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm. Their daughter takes a nap from 1:30 pm until 4:00 pm. Nanny duties in the mornings include assisting with dressing, preparing breakfast, packing lunch for their daughter, and helping with hair and teeth brushing. Once the children are at school, the family assistant duties will commence. After picking their daughter up and putting her down for a nap, the family assistant duties will continue. Nanny duties will resume once their son is picked up from school until the end of the day.
As a family assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of their household. Our family is seeking an individual who can handle a range of professional duties and responsibilities. Additionally, both parents strive to create a kind and positive environment, treating anyone working in their home with respect and appreciation. They deeply respect the important work of a nanny/family assistant and value the diverse set of skills required for childcare and household management.
In joining our family, you will not only be valued as a true professional but also have the opportunity to establish a partnership based on trust and consistency with their children. Our family is seeking a career nanny who aligns with their parenting philosophy, which prioritizes raising kind and responsible individuals. As “authoritative” parents, they believe in setting clear rules and expectations, engaging in collaborative problem-solving with their children, and fostering open communication and natural consequences. They also place great emphasis on teaching and modeling developmentally appropriate emotional regulation skills. Your commitment to these principles will contribute to the harmonious growth and development of their children as you work together as a dedicated and supportive team.
Our family is currently seeking a professional who can commit to working 50-60+ hours per week, and flexibility is paramount. The ability to accommodate a weekly date night or bi-monthly date nights is highly valued. The tentative schedule for this role is as follows:
-
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, with Tuesdays extending until 9:00 pm for date nights.
-
Fridays offer the possibility of either a full day from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm or a shorter day from 7:00 am to 1:30/3:30 pm.
-
Additionally, assistance on one weekend morning, either Saturday or Sunday, would be greatly appreciated. This position is ideal for someone with a mindset that embraces the concept of “the more hours, the better!”
Demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to travel is considered advantageous for this position.
In joining our family, you will enter into a partnership with highly professional, dedicated, and committed parents. They are seeking an individual who shares their passion for providing exceptional care and support to their children. As a valued member of their household, you will be respected and recognized as the true professional that you are. Our family deeply appreciates the expertise and skills you bring to the role and will provide the support and autonomy necessary for you to excel in your job.
