A personalized hiring process tailored to your family’s needs
Hello Nanny! places nannies in all 50 states.
The right hire looks different for every family
Some families need a full-time nanny. Some need a newborn specialist for the first six months. Some need a family assistant who runs the household alongside the parents. Here’s what we place and how to know which fits.
Part-Time & Full-Time Nannies
A primary caregiver embedded in your child's daily life. The most common role we place — and the one we screen most rigorously.
Live-In Nannies & Au Pairs
A nanny who lives in your home. Higher integration, more flexibility, more careful matching — these placements come with our longest replacement guarantee.
Newborn Care Specialists
Trained specifically in newborn care, sleep training, and postpartum support. Often hired for the first 12 weeks — sometimes the first year.
Night Nannies & ROTA
Overnight specialists, or rotating coverage with a partner nanny for round-the-clock support. Most often used for newborns and twins.
Family Assistants
Hybrid role: childcare alongside household management — calendars, errands, meal prep, scheduling. The right answer when "I need help" doesn't mean "I need a nanny."
House Managers
Senior household operations — vendors, properties, staff coordination, family travel. For households running like small businesses.
What we check before you ever see a candidate.
A lot of agencies say they vet. Few will tell you what that means. Here’s our standard for every candidate we present to a family and the standard we hold families to in return.
Verified experience, not self-reported.
Every candidate’s work history is checked against actual references, not testimonials curated by the candidate. We talk to former employers, ask hard questions, and document the answers.
Background screening, layered.
Recruiter-conducted interviews.
Every candidate sits down with a Hello Nanny recruiter before they’re presented to a family. Not a screening call. A real interview. We’re listening for fit, professionalism, and red flags that paperwork won’t surface.
W-2 employment. Always.
A real working agreement.
Replacement, when it's needed.
Concierge placements come with a replacement guarantee 120 days for live-out, a full year for live-in and nanny shares. If a placement doesn’t work, we recruit again. No second invoice.
The process was hands-on, extremely thorough, and refreshingly direct. As first-time household employers, we truly appreciated how clearly the team walked us through what to look for, what questions to ask, and how to think through the hiring process with confidence.
We had an excellent experience working with Hello Nanny. From the very beginning, they were incredibly thorough with background checks and truly took the time to understand the specific qualities and priorities we were looking for in a nanny.
From the start, we were impressed by the caliber and breadth of candidates they presented. We weren’t just given more options-we were given more relevant options that reflected what we were uniquely looking for in a nanny and household manager.
I found working with Stephanie and Risa to be a very smooth and streamlined process. They were always professional and ready to help in any way they could. I had great peace of mind knowing I had experienced people helping me vet potential candidates and they helped me hire a nanny who has been a great fit so far!
We have worked with other agencies in the past and we found Hello, Nanny’s process for on-boarding, clarity in pricing, qualification of candidates, timeliness of communication, and support in the hiring process to be superior to others.
They are so very kind and are attentive to both nanny and family needs. I worked with a few other agencies and this one was so helpful and amazing, I highly recommend this agency for Nannies and also families! I love the family I got placed with and I can’t wait to grow with them!
