Is Hello Nanny! a staffing agency?

No. We're a placement agency. Families hire their nanny directly as their own employee, and we make sure it's done right, with W-2 employment, a clear work agreement, and thorough vetting.

How much do doulas earn for referring a family?

You earn 10% of the placement fee when a family you refer books a Concierge placement, which averages $965 per family and $1,465 for live-in or nanny share placements. Payouts are processed automatically once the placement is made, with no cap on how many families you refer.

How do caregiver referrals pay?

You earn $400 when a caregiver you refer is hired through one of our Concierge placements. Payouts are processed automatically once she's placed.

What is a Concierge placement?

Concierge is our full-service placement. We get to know the family, run the entire nanny search, vet and background-check candidates, and help set up legal, W-2 employment from day one.

Can I accept a referral fee as a doula?

Yes, and we recommend being transparent about it. Let families know you're a compensated Hello Nanny! partner when you share your link, and check your certifying organization's code of ethics for any disclosure standards.

Do you serve families outside my area?

Yes. We place nationwide, so you can refer any family you serve, wherever they live.

What happens after I refer a family?

We reach out, learn what they need, and guide them through the search. Your partner link tracks the referral so you're credited when they're placed.

Does referring affect the care I provide?

Not at all. Most doulas share their link during their final visits, as part of closing out care. We step in after your work wraps up.
